WHS Clubs

We offer lots of opportunities for children to develop their enthusiasms and interests through extra-curricular clubs here at The White House School. We believe that these clubs help to build confidence, foster team spirit and open eyes to new ideas.  There are clubs each lunchtime and each evening, offering all sorts of activities!

We make no charge for clubs at lunchtime, but currently charge £3 for attendance at after-school clubs up until 4:30 p.m., payable in arrears.

Breakfast Club and Extended school hours also incur charges.

Extended Hours

The White House School offers extended hours, Monday to Friday, during Term Time.  This facility, in conjunction with Breakfast Club, means that school is now open to children from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Contact the school office for more details.

The White House School Breakfast Club

The White House School Breakfast Club runs on Monday to Friday from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. on days when school is open. The aim of the club is to provide a high quality service to meet the needs of both parents/carers and children. We provide a healthy breakfast with a choice of cereal and milk, toast and topping, fruit juice, milk and water. There is a variety of activities available to engage the children’s interests. The club is run, and breakfast is served, by WHS Teaching Assistants, all of whom hold a Food Hygiene & Safety (Level 2) qualification and DBS clearance, as well as having a great deal of experience in caring for children.

The cost per session is a flat fee of £4.00 per session (or part session) if booked in advance and £4.50 on a ‘one-off’ basis. Places need to be booked by Friday of the previous week so that supplies can be bought. Please note that once sessions are booked, these will be payable, whether your child attends or not (other than when cancellation of bookings is made 48 hours prior to absence).

Members of staff running the Breakfast Club follow school policies and procedures on Child Protection, Safeguarding, E-Safety, Health and Safety, Fire, First Aid, Administration of Medicines, Behaviour Management, Equal Opportunities and (needless to say) Healthy Eating.

Please contact the school office if you need any additional information.
